Eve Arden (April 30, 1908–November 12, 1990) was an American actress born when Eunice Quedens inside Mill Valley, California, which is just northward of San Francisco, California.

She performed in stage, making her Broadway debut in 1934. She played inside numerous movies, including most recently Grease and Grease 2, within which she played a primary, & earliest in her career when Joan Crawford's pal around Mildred Pierce, and when James Stewart's wistful secretary around Anatomy of a Murder.

She was as well a star of Our Miss Brooks, a sitcom which aired on two radio (1948 - 1952), television (1952 - 1956), and inside the 1956 feature film. She played a role of Connie Brooks, an English teacher inside Madison High School. She besides appeared by having Kaye Ballard in the 1967-1969 sitcom, The Mothers-In-Law, which was produced by her old friend Desi Arnaz after the dissolution of Desilu. Around 1967 she won a Sarah Siddons Award for her work inside Chicago theatre. For her contribution to the industry, she has the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6714 Hollywood Blvd.

Eve Arden died of cancer and heart disease at home in Los Angeles, California at the age of 82, & was buried in the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Westwood, California.
